The World Cup Cricket Tournament begins today !!!!!

The 10th world cup cricket tournament will start in Meepore in Bangladesh today. The inaugural match is between India and Bangladesh. Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the captain of the Indian team and the Bangladesh team is led by Sakeeb Al Hassen . Many believe that Bangladesh wood turnout to be a rebellions team at the world cup tournament due to their ability to win the test series against New Zealand four to nil. In the first match of the World Cup tournament in 2007 , India lost sto Bangladesh. The World Cup matches are being conducted under the categories A and B. Sri Lanka along with Australia , Pakistan, New Zealand , Zimbabwe , Canada and Kenya are in the A group. The B group is represented by South Africa, India England, West Indies , Bangladesh , Ireland and Netherlands. There are 49 matches in the current tournament. 29 out of these matches will be played in India. 12 matches are to be played in Sri Lanka and the remaining 8 in Bangladesh.
The International cricket council ahs decided yesterday to grant special privileges to the host countries which enter the semi finals. Accordingly these victorious countries will be allowed the opportunity to face the remaining matches in their own countries. Therefore there is a possibility of changing venues of the semi final matches according to these developments.
